The rather important mind muscle connection. Hard to teach and absolutely a necessity to master. You will know when you got it and you will notice how you will improve at it. Its a big reason why you must first practice and master the compound movements we speak of so often. Enter the gym with the goal of training the muscle, not just lifting the weights. Practice your form and visualize the muscle working. Slow and control the weight, flexing while working the muscle with a big flex at the top of the movement. Ensuring you feel the targeted muscle work, as you feel it warm up and fill with blood flow causing the coveted pump. Practice makes perfect so get in the gym and master those lifts.
